These General Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of products from the Official Online Store of Villarreal C.F. (shop.villarrealcf.es). We recommend that you read them before placing your order.

They are supplemented by the Legal Notice, the Returns and Withdrawal Policy, the Shipping Policy, the Personalisation Terms and the Privacy Policy, all of which form part of these Terms.

2. PURPOSE AND SCOPE

These Terms govern the distance selling of official Villarreal C.F. products through the Official Online Store, and are the only terms applicable, superseding any others.

Where the buyer acts as a consumer or user within the meaning of Article 3 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (the Spanish Consumer Protection Act), the rights granted to them by that legislation shall apply. No clause of these Terms may be interpreted in a way that limits or excludes those rights.

By confirming an order you accept these Terms in the version published at that time. We keep a record of each version.

3. WHO MAY BUY

To place an order you must be of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. Unemancipated minors may not enter into a contract of sale on their own (Articles 314 and 1263 of the Spanish Civil Code); in such cases, the purchase must be made by their parent or legal guardian.

4. GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE

We ship to Spain and to the international destinations shown during the checkout process. See the Shipping Policy.

5. THE PRODUCTS

The essential characteristics of each product are described on its product page.

Photographs, graphic representations and descriptions are indicative. Slight variations in shade may occur depending on your screen settings; these do not constitute a lack of conformity.

Availability. All offers are subject to stock availability. If a product is unavailable after an order has been confirmed, we will let you know as soon as possible and you may choose between replacement with an equivalent product or cancellation of the order, with a full refund of the amounts paid.

6. PRICES, VAT AND SHIPPING COSTS

Prices are stated in euros and include applicable VAT. They do not include shipping costs, which are calculated and shown itemised before you confirm your order.

The applicable price is the one in force at the time the order is placed. We may change the prices and characteristics of the products offered, without this affecting orders already confirmed.

For shipments outside the European Union, customs duties, tariffs and import taxes not included in the price may apply and are payable by the recipient. See the Shipping Policy.

7. PURCHASE PROCESS AND FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT

Select the products and their options (size, colour, personalisation) and add them to your cart.
Review your cart, which shows the product details, the price of each item and the total amount.
Enter your billing and shipping details.
Select the shipping method and the payment method. Before paying you will see the total amount, including taxes and shipping costs.
Confirm the order and complete the payment.

The contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order by means of the confirmation email, which includes the order number and the purchase details. That document is stored electronically and you may request a copy at any time at retail@villarrealcf.es.

The contract is formalised in Spanish.

8. CORRECTION OF ERRORS

Before confirming your order you may review and correct the details entered, change the contents of your cart and return to earlier steps in the process.

If you notice an error after confirming, write to us as soon as possible at retail@villarrealcf.es: we will try to correct it provided the order has not yet entered preparation. For personalised items, see the Personalisation Terms.

9. PURCHASING WITH AN ACCOUNT OR AS A GUEST

You may shop by creating an account or as a guest. In both cases you are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and, if you have an account, for safeguarding your login credentials.

10. PAYMENT METHODS AND SECURITY

The accepted payment methods are shown during the checkout process. Payment is made through a secure payment gateway. We do not store your full card details.

If the transaction is declined by the issuing bank, the order will not be processed.

We may decline an order where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, unauthorised use of a payment method or breach of these Terms. In such cases we will refund in full any amount charged.

11. INVOICING

You will receive your proof of purchase together with the order confirmation. If you need an invoice with your tax details, request it at retail@villarrealcf.es, quoting your order number.

12. ADVANCE SALES AND PRE-ORDERS

Certain products may be offered as pre-orders before they are physically available. In such cases the estimated availability date will be stated on the product page.

Payment is taken at the time of purchase and shipping takes place once the product is available. If the estimated date is significantly delayed, we will inform you and you may choose to keep the order or cancel it with a full refund.

13. PROMOTIONS, DISCOUNTS AND CODES

Promotional codes are subject to their own terms of use, which will be stated in each case (validity period, eligible products, minimum spend, usage limit, combination with other promotions).

Unless expressly stated otherwise, discount codes may not be combined with one another and are not exchangeable for cash. We reserve the right to cancel codes obtained or used fraudulently or contrary to their terms.

14. BENEFITS FOR MEMBERS AND SEASON TICKET HOLDERS

Certain benefits or discounts may be reserved for members, season ticket holders or other Villarreal C.F. groups. In such cases proof of the relevant status may be required, and the benefit is conditional on that status being valid at the time of purchase.

15. PERSONALISED PRODUCTS

Certain products may be personalised with a printed name, squad number or competition badge.

Personalised products are made specifically for each customer, cannot be reversed and, in accordance with Article 103(c) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, are excluded from the right of withdrawal. This does not affect cases of faulty, damaged or incorrect products, nor the legal guarantee of conformity, both of which apply in full.

Squad numbers may change while the transfer window remains open, until 31 August.

16. DELIVERY

Delivery times, shipping costs and delivery conditions are set out in the Shipping Policy.

Delivery times are estimates and run from payment confirmation. Orders that include personalised items require additional preparation time.

We accept no liability where delivery cannot be completed because the details provided are inaccurate or incomplete, or because of the recipient's repeated absence.

17. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

If you are buying as a consumer, you have 14 calendar days from receipt of your order to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason and without penalty.

We will refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within no more than 14 calendar days from the date we receive your notice.

The full procedure is set out in the Returns and Withdrawal Policy, and a withdrawal form is available to you.

18. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with Article 103 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised products (Article 103(c)) or to products sealed for health protection reasons that have been unsealed after delivery (Article 103(e)), among other cases provided for by law.

These exclusions do not affect your rights if the product turns out to be faulty, damaged or not as described.

19. COMMERCIAL RETURNS POLICY

In addition and on a voluntary basis, we accept exchanges and returns for 15 calendar days from receipt, under the conditions set out in the Returns and Withdrawal Policy.

This commercial policy is additional and does not replace or limit the right of withdrawal or the legal guarantee.

20. LEGAL GUARANTEE OF CONFORMITY

We are liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery and becoming apparent within three years of delivery. Unless proven otherwise, any lack of conformity becoming apparent within two years of delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery.

This guarantee also applies to personalised products.

21. NON-CONFORMING PRODUCTS

In the event of a lack of conformity you are entitled to have it brought into conformity (repair or replacement) and, where this is impossible or disproportionate, to a price reduction or termination of the contract, under Articles 118 et seq. of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007.

Bringing the product into conformity will be free of charge and will include any necessary costs, in particular shipping costs. Write to us at retail@villarrealcf.es quoting your order number.

22. CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMPLAINTS

Official complaint forms are available to consumers and may be requested at the email address above.

23. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the consumer authorities of your autonomous region or the relevant Consumer Arbitration Board (Junta Arbitral de Consumo). If you reside in another European Union Member State, you may contact the European Consumer Centre.

24. DATA PROTECTION

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.

25. FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is due to force majeure beyond our reasonable control. In such cases we will inform you and the performance period will be extended for the duration of the event; if it continues for a significant period, you may cancel the order with a full refund.

26. PARTIAL INVALIDITY AND AMENDMENT

If any clause of these Terms is declared void or unenforceable, the remaining clauses shall remain in force and shall be interpreted in accordance with the purpose of these Terms.

We may amend these Terms by publishing them in the store. Each order is governed by the Terms in force and published at the time it is confirmed.

27. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by Spanish law.

Where the buyer acts as a consumer, the courts of their place of residence shall have jurisdiction. In all other cases, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Vila-real (Castellón).
